The Product Strategy Network's mission is to enable you to improve your capabilities to achieve profitable, innovative products. We do this by identifying the useful practices and strategies across our extensive network and harnessing this collective experience.
While our focus is on the producers of technology products including information technology, software, medical devices and biotechnology, robotics and automation, nanotechnology, and clean tech, practitioners creating innovative products with companies in other industries including advanced materials, financial services, and manufacturing have benefitted from this collective experience, too.
| Our Guiding Principles |
All of the Product Strategy Network's programs are guided by a handful of principles which provide concrete value to our members and participants, and distinguish it from others.
-
Time-to-value. We understand that you are quite busy trying to achieve success with your products. You don't have time to waste on irrelevant information, generalized approaches, vague references, and thinly disguised promotion. We appreciate your desire to quickly put to use what you've received, and we strive to meet this goal in everything we do.
-
Utility. We believe that proven practices and strategies - gained from years of experience in the trenches - can carry an organization forward as surely as great minds and great thoughts. Our primary task is to discover these specific, actionable ideas wherever they exist within our network and to bring them to the membership.
-
Trust. Our founders, leaders, and advisors are all highly experienced professionals in product strategy management. But the PSN is not about promoting their views and expertise, and it isn't to help vendors promote their wares. We take great care and keenly feel the responsibility to ensure that exchanges are free from promotional agendas and you can trust that what you are learning has worked.
-
Generosity. Advancement of the network, and the benefits our members derive from it, is about giving as much as it is about taking. The more that is given, the more that can be taken and put to use. We gladly take the initiative to give first and to give more, knowing that the spirit of generosity is what makes the PSN a powerful and valuable network.
