Far too many product managers and product marketing managers struggle to develop a positioning for their product that is adopted by key stakeholders. Too often its development ends up in a frustrating debate over the words to use. When it is approached strategically, positioning helps to clearly define a differentiated space in the market and to align the team and organization with the position.
