When your product becomes wildly successful, the demands on your business get more intense. Lower the costs. Meet schedules. Release new product versions. Respond to customer requests. Defend your turf. With so much competition for your time, it’s no surprise that companies often fail to discover unmet customer needs that lead to new great products – the approach that made them successful in the first place.

In this PSN Forum event, John DiLeo will explain how MSA (Mine Safety Appliances) – a $1 billion manufacturer of safety products - has reinstituted a focus on finding and understanding unmet customer needs to drive product design and development. He will discuss this journey, and how they approached conceptualizing product solutions and designing for the user experience for a specific product development project.  You will benefit from their techniques, experiences and lessons learned.
