About the Speaker - Stefanie Lattner
Stefanie Lattner, as VP of Strategy at XL TechGroup, focuses on vetting business opportunities using the company's model of evaluating unmet market needs, creating companies to exploit these needs, and collaborating with their portfolio companies to develop strategic plans. She also serves as COO of QuoNova, an XLTG portfolio company.
Prior to XLTG, Ms. Lattner was an Executive-in-Residence for Innovation Works, a seed-stage investment organization in Pennsylvania where she worked with the team to launch an average of 10 companies a year. She has held board-level positions in numerous technology firms, and worked with the management teams of new companies to reach successful exits. Ms. Lattner has held management positions at Respironics (now Philips Respironics) where she focused on emerging technologies, strategic planning, and developing new-to-world concepts, and with UPMC, a diversified healthcare provider, where she worked as a consultant to Kodak, GE, Siemens and Fuji.
Ms. Lattner has an MBA with distinction from University of Michigan. She also has an MS in BioEngineering and a BS in Electrical Engineering, both from the University of Pittsburgh. She has numerous worldwide patents and publications to her credit.
