Prime Minister Gordon Brown took part in a Q&A session at The London Book Fair on Monday 14th April with novelist Sebastian Faulks.

Attending the event to mark the National Year of Reading, the PM said that reading had been "a great passion of my life" and that "books are everything".

The 2008 Seminars

Over 3,000 attended the seminars at this year's London Book Fair. There were three themed seminar streams that were programmed following the 2007 visitor and exhibitor research: Digitisation; Children's books & publishing; Film & TV. These ran along our regular Market Focus programme and the Booksellers Association Small Business Forum.
