Members and Network

Product Strategy Network is designed to serve the needs of product-producing companies and their managers who lead and manage technology product strategy and commercialization.

Our Members and network participants work with startup, emerging and established businesses of all sizes. They lead products in many product categories covering information technology, life sciences technology, automation/robotics, manufacturing technology, advanced materials, and nanotechnology. Many work with technology companies; some lead technology products for non-technology companies.  They hold positions ranging from product managers and CEOs to managers, directors, and vice presidents of product development, marketing, business development, operations, program management, and related functions.

Look what our Members and network participants are saying:

"I have been involved in the PSN for about the past 18 months. The exposure to my professional colleagues in other companies has been a much more efficient vehicle for dialogue and collaboration than any other current form of regional interaction that I've experienced. The PSN's focus on the elements of bringing new products to market and the decisions and activities around that are unavailable through other regional forums. In fact, what has been created here may be unique."

-- Don DeLauder, MEDRAD, Director of Product Innovation and Advanced Development

"The Product Strategy Network provides me with real world "practitioner" level insight into and across the entire commercialization process from idea to revenue. PPSN provides the kind of focus and networking that many other organizations - locally and nationally - do not."

-- Chris Gormley, COO, Tiversa

"I originally participated in the Network based on a sense of business community involvement. The concept of sharing information and lessons learned on how to commercialize new products and services seemed like a great way to help spur regional innovation and economic development. As my participation grew, I realized the information shared in the roundtable meetings and forums has also helped me move my business forward. This is what the Network is all about. "

-- Shane McClelland, Ericsson, Director of Marketing and Market Management

"PSN is far and away the BEST professional organization for my needs. It offers immediately useful learning experiences; provides directly actionable information; and has created an extremely valuable peer network. "

-- Gary Rosensteel, DigiBrix, CEO, President and founder

"The Product Strategy Network's unique focus is on spreading best-practices among product commercialization professionals. Hearing from my peers about what works and what doesn't means I can avoid common mistakes and dead ends in new product development. And these are the experiences of real-world professionals--not stale business school cases. In addition, I find the opportunity to network with my peers to be extremely valuable. No other organization helps me keep track of them or the challenges they're facing like the Product Strategy Network. "

-- Randy Quinn, McKesson Automation, Product Marketing Manager

"The process of taking great ideas and making them great products has been largely unexplored in this region. Product Strategy Network provides an excellent environment for sharing experience, best practices, and new ideas for creating commercial success with long-term value. "

-- Mary Murrin, Nokia, Product Marketing Manager

"I have attended several of the Network's events and have found every one of them to be informative and thought-provoking. The topics and issues discussed are more relevant to me than those of other such "networking" organizations. Indeed, PSN provides much more than just an opportunity for networking. "

-- Catherine Brennan, IngMar Medical Ltd., Product Manager

"The Product Strategy Network has been a valuable resource for me. Through the Network, I have been able to meet and share ideas on product strategy and commercialization with other technology professionals. I wholeheartedly recommend the Network for anyone in the technology community who shares an interest in building and delivering great products to the market. "

-- Jim Jen, Innovation Works, Portfolio Executive

"The Product Strategy Network has given me unprecedented access to the wisdom and experiences of fellow practitioners in the technology product commercialization space. The Network provides a unique forum for sharing best practices and real-world strategies for building and launching successful products."

-- Mike Capsambelis, General Dynamics/Viz, Product Manager

"Product Strategy Network has provided an excellent forum for us to meet a number of our peers and have productive strategy discussions. In facing some recent hosting strategy and pricing decisions, we were able to leverage some of the participants' experience in these areas that positively influenced our approach. "

-- Bob Vishneski, Management Science Associates, Vice President of Business Development

"Successful technology companies tend to be marketing oriented. As such, PSN provides a valuable, learning forum to share war stories, strategies, and metrics with fellow product marketing, product management and related commercialization professionals. There is nothing else like the PSN. I simply never want to miss a PSN program. "

-- Rod Stoll, Back-to-Basics, President
